‘Know the Ledge’ was a bboy event that was held last night on August 20th at the Graffiti Gallery (Winnipeg MB), as a fund raiser for Canada’s longest running bboy jam - ‘Break 4 Bread’ (By: Jesse Santos and Bob ‘Boobjester’ Veruela). This particular post is about what I feel is the utmost important element that every photograph should have: Interest.
Can you connect with the subject in the photo? How bout connecting with the photographer who took the photo? I want to step away from all the technical lighting tips, rules of composition, posing and all that and talk about how the rawness, and the character of the subject inside the frame brings life to the photos. So with that said, let them speak for themselves:
